March 5, 2026 | At the beginning of February, DHAS’s volunteer Board of Directors gathered for a three-morning retreat to discuss our plans for 2026. During the retreat, the Board reviewed our Strategic Plan, noted which tasks were completed in 2025, and identified priorities that need to be attended to in 2026.
Some of the key activities that you can expect the Board to undertake this year include:
- Developing and rolling out a focused program of volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and training
- Creating a task force that will review the Thrift Shop building envelope, evaluate potential risks, and make long-term recommendations
- Building connections among the volunteers of our business units, our paid staff, and our volunteer Board members
DHAS President Maureen Mooney commented on the retreat “We are energized by the clarity gained during the retreat and look forward to advancing DHAS’s mission in 2026. With the support of our 300+ volunteers, DHAS will continue to support the Delta Hospital Campus of Care for many years to come.”
