Our 49th Year
June 12th was the 49th anniversary of the founding of the Auxiliary, nearly half a century serving the citizens of Delta and providing equipment to make our Hospital better. A huge “thank you” to ALL the volunteers over the years. Without you and the public’s support we would never have reached this milestone!
Thrift Store wins award
Delta Hospital Auxiliary Society is pleased to announce that their Thrift Store is the recipient of a 2018 Readers’ Choice Award. The thrift store was recognized and honored as favorite “Second Hand Store”. New Telemetry Unit
Your Council is looking forward to the opening of the telemetry unit in July. Nurses have been training for use with the new equipment, and that will mean better care for heart patients. There will then be four more beds available in the Emergency area.
Lifetime Members event
Our celebration of Auxiliary Day was a very enjoyable day. The lifetime members enjoyed meeting in an informal setting and chatting about their past activities. Thanks again to the Communication Unit for organizing the event.
