November 16, 2025 | The Delta Hospital Auxiliary Society (DHAS) is thrilled to announce a contribution of $500,000 to the Delta Hospital and Community Health (DHCH) Foundation’s “Fund a Need” initiative during the recent Moonlight Gala, for which DHAS was a gold sponsor. DHAS’s contribution, which was matched by generous community contributors, will be allocated to the planned full upgrade of Delta Hospital’s Endoscopy Program.
DHAS President Maureen Mooney, who made the announcement in conjunction with Foundation CEO Lisa Hoglund during the Moonlight Gala, noted that “this contribution absolutely would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our wonderful volunteers. We are incredibly grateful for our volunteers’ vision and commitment. We also thank our generous community whose donations and ongoing support enabled us to make this gift.”
The Moonlight Gala, which is the Foundation’s signature fundraising event, raised a record-breaking $1.8 million in support of the Endoscopy Program. Learn more about the Moonlight Gala and its impact.
As pictured above, Maureen attended the Moonlight Gala, held at Tsawwassen Springs on November 8, together with Banafshe Namazi (DHAS Director of Operations), Kath Campbell (Thrift Shop Volunteer), Marlee Teck (Gift Shop Volunteer), and Anne Campbell (Thrift Shop Volunteer).
