April 14, 2025 | DHAS is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to our volunteer Board of Directors. Please join us in welcoming Wendy Childs, Kelly Guichon, and Brian Stewart to the Board, which was formally installed during the recent DHAS AGM.

Wendy Childs has been a Delta resident for 34 years, first moving to Ladner and then to Tsawwassen with her husband Bob where they raised their two children, Rowan and Megan. She has an MBA from UBC as well as an undergraduate degree from Queen’s and spent many years in corporate settings in the travel, finance and technology industries and finally 19 years at TELUS in various marketing, analytical and consulting roles. Giving back to her community has always been important to her and she has held executive or board positions with Falcons Field Hockey and Tsawwassen Beach Access.

Kelly Guichon is a lifelong Delta resident and a member of a long-standing farming family deeply rooted in the community. She holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University. Kelly has served in key leadership roles, including as Board Chair and Trustee of the Delta Board of Education, Executive Director of the Delta Chamber of Commerce, and as a small business owner focused on farm-to-table produce and farmers markets across the Lower Mainland. With over 30 years of active volunteer service, Kelly has contributed her time and expertise to numerous community organizations. Now retired, she remains passionate about giving back to the community.

Brian Stewart has been a resident of Ladner since 1994. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and is a retired Certified General Accountant (CGA). Over the course of his career, Brian worked in a variety of financial roles, including commercial banker, accountant, and corporate controller. For the past four years, he has actively volunteered with the Delta Hospital Auxiliary Society’s Thrift Shop and Lifeline divisions. Brian is married with two married sons and a granddaughter, all of whom live in South Delta. Brian will serve as DHAS’s Treasurer for 2025–26.

See all Board members.
