April 14, 2025 | Barbara Worwood, Lower Mainland Director, BC Association of Healthcare Auxiliaries (BCAHA) formally installed the 2025–26 Board of Directors during the recent DHAS AGM. Pictured are Executive members Maureen Mooney (President), Katy Ellsworth (Vice President), Lynda Laughlin (Secretary), and Brian Stewart (Treasurer and new Board member). Joining the Executive are Members at Large Hugh Burke, Elaine Canning, Wendy Childs (new Board member), Kelly Guichon (new Board member), and Jim Short. This is the third year of DHAS following a policy board model, in which membership is made up of DHAS members and members from the larger Delta Community who commit labour and specific skillsets to DHAS. In 2023, our members voted to shift away from a council whose members represented areas of the Auxiliary to a policy board model.
