January 22, 2026 | Last evening, the volunteers of the Delta Hospital Auxiliary Society (DHAS) were honored at a special appreciation dinner hosted by the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation (DHCH Foundation). The event celebrated the heart and soul of DHAS—the remarkable people who bring that heart to life every day.
The evening featured a video presentation that poignantly reflected the core values of DHAS and the impact of our members’ work. Jodi Stokes, Director of Legacy and Leadership Giving at the Foundation, shared a slideshow featuring equipment purchases from 2024 and 2025, all from DHAS funds. The message was clear: our volunteers’ selfless dedication is the lifeblood of DHAS, and their time, care, and compassion make a difference in Delta.
“I am humbled and grateful for our volunteers and their unwavering commitment to DHAS,” says Maureen Mooney, President of DHAS. “Your contributions—your time, your care, and your compassion—are a true reflection of what DHAS stands for.”
The evening highlighted the powerful, collaborative partnership we share with the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation. Together, our two organizations amplify our impact, advance better health for our community, and ensure that care remains at the heart of all we do.
DHAS looks forward to many more opportunities to recognize, celebrate, and expand the vital work that unites us in service.
