September 5, 2025 |The Delta Hospital Auxiliary Society (DHAS) is thrilled to announce that the DHAS Thrift Shop has been named the Delta Optimist 2025 Readers’ Choice Award winner for Best Second-Hand Store.
This achievement shines a well-deserved spotlight on the caring community that keeps our shop thriving. “This award isn’t just about a store—it’s a tribute to the hard work, dedication, and passion of more than 300 volunteers who pour heart and soul into every donation, every sale, and every customer interaction,” says DHAS President Maureen Mooney. “We could not be more proud of them, and we thank the community and the Delta Optimist for this extraordinary honour.”
