April 17, 2026 | The DHAS Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Matt Doherty has joined Delta Hospital Auxiliary Society as Operations Coordinator.
Matt brings over ten years of experience in administration, event operations, and organizational leadership, with a strong background in operational coordination, volunteer engagement, and program management. Most recently, he served as Executive Director of Ringette BC, where he led organizational operations, financial planning, and strategic program delivery while working closely with staff, volunteers, and stakeholders across the province.
Throughout his career, Matt has built a reputation for developing effective operational systems and delivering high-quality programs and events. His experience has strengthened his ability to manage logistics, support volunteer-driven initiatives, and foster strong community partnerships. He is known for his collaborative, service-focused approach and his commitment to building positive and inclusive organizational cultures.
As a local resident, Matt is deeply connected to the community and is particularly passionate about the Auxiliary’s mission, having personally experienced the impact of care at the Delta Hospital Campus of Care. The Board is confident that his operational expertise and community-focused mindset will support the continued success of the Auxiliary.
