About the Thrift Shop

Due to limited volunteer availability, the Delta Hospital Auxiliary Society Thrift Shop will operate on a reduced schedule this week (May 10 to 16).

  • Sunday: all stores closed and no donations can be accepted
  • Monday: all stores open 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm
  • Tuesday: all stores open 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Wednesday and Thursday: all stores closed and no donations can be accepted
  • Friday: all stores open 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Saturday: all stores closed and no donations can be accepted

We understand this may be disappointing for many in our community, and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

The Thrift Shop has always been powered by an extraordinary group of volunteers whose time, care, and dedication make this work possible.

We remain deeply grateful for everything our volunteers have contributed over the years, and we are committed to working toward a respectful and supportive path forward together.

Thank you for your continued support of the Delta Hospital Auxiliary Society and the Thrift Shop community.

The Thrift Shop is a Ladner community favourite, located in the heart of the Ladner Village. Through the donations from the community, we sell gently used clothing and household products, including specialty items such as books, music & movies, jewelry, crafting supplies, sporting goods, toys & games, and collectibles. Our dedicated volunteers sort, price, display and sell these items within our three stores: (1) Housewares, (2) Clothing, and (3) Furniture.

Throughout the year, we host special events & sales such as our annual Christmas Store, pop-up jewelry sales, and half-price specials. Since the Thrift Shop is located in the Ladner Village, we have the incredible privilege of participating in community events, such as Ladner Village Market Days, the Christmas Open House, and other Holiday festivities.

Funds raised through the Thrift Shop help support patient care and comfort at the Delta Hospital Campus of Care.

    Donations

Are you considering donating to the DHAS Thrift Shop? Thank you for your generosity! Please review our designated drop-off days and times (listed in the sidebar) before you fill up your car. Please also take a look at the list of items (bel0w) that we are unable to accept.

Once you arrive at the Thrift Shop, our amazing crew will happily lend a hand in finding a new home for your treasures. Items may be dropped off under the white awning located outside the Thrift Shop. Our crews have tables set up to receive donations during designated drop-off times.

As of December 14, 2025, we are not accepting donations of artificial Christmas trees.

Please bring donations during designated days and times only. Please do not drop off outside donation hours!
