Communications volunteers work to promote the Auxiliary’s work through social media platforms, our website, print advertising, and more. If you love web work, writing, photography, videography, writing, or advertising, we have lots of opportunities to grow & use your skills.
If you love helping customers and work well in a relaxed and friendly business setting, the Gift Shop is a great place for you! NOTE: Volunteers in the Gift Shop (as with all other volunteers and staff serving within Delta Hospital and other Fraser Health facilities) are required to take an online safety training and orientation course, to complete a Criminal Record check, and to provide confirmation of immunizations.
Current opportunity: Gift Shop Associate
The Lifeline medical alert system serves individuals with disabilities or seniors living independently. Volunteers install equipment and assist clients with their Personal Help Buttons. If you are tech-savvy or have experience in installation, Lifeline would love to have you!
Current 0pportunity: Lifeline Unit – Installation & Service Provider
Our volunteers accept donations and sort, price, display and sell gently used items of household, clothing and furniture donated by our generous community. The Thrift Shop is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that is always looking for new volunteers.
