In the 2023 Delta Optimist Readers Choice Awards, the Auxiliary was a popular choice! The Thrift Shop placed 1st in “Best Second Hand Store”, Lifeline placed 2nd in “Best Senior Services”, and the DHAS placed 3rd in “Best Nonprofit”! Thank you to all who voted and continue to support our mission!

Our Delta Lifeline Program will be participating in fun events during Annual Seniors Week in South Delta and North Delta. Come by to learn more about a Lifeline help alert button to help keep loved ones safe when living alone or at home alone regularly.

A lot of equipment that we purchased in 2022 is now in use at the Delta Hospital lab.  Some Board members recently saw some of the freezer and refrigeration equipment that we paid for.

Delta Lifeline is participating at the ‘Healthy Aging Fair’ for seniors coming up on May 13th at Ladner United Church.
